Pig Progress

I have figured out yet another benefit to having a pig instead of a person for a child. There is no way I will ever have to hear from Bocephus how I damaged his delicate psyche by posting his potty training pics on the internet!
This pic cracks me up, because it shows how little he really is, and I do not think the other ones really have so far. He is already growing like a weed, I have had to loosen his harness twice already, which makes him almost as mad as anything else to do with his harness.
Anyway, last nite, he got put in his litter box and started playing with the cedar chips, so that he had them all over his head. Then he started to get out of his box, and I told him to put his little butt back in there and go to the bathroom. I swear to you that he backed up and tended to business.
Maybe he is not a short bus pig after all!

Nah, not a short bus pig. I think that's a hop in the car and drive himself smart kind of pig...if only he could reach the dang pedals...I also loved the swimming and the hubby-pig-and-dog pics! Aww!

And I do like the name Bocephus, although, I still think Bacon would've been a good choice.

Kate (de-lurking to say hello, and, that's a cute pig!)

That's too funny! So, for the Short Bus Folks out here, how the heck do you pronounce the pig's name? A phoenetic spelling would be appreciated. :)

Always good to have a vote against the short bus! Thanks for posting--now maybe I will quit lurking on your blog!

Very cute potty training picture there mum. But aren't you supposed to use real kitty litter? If you use cedar chips to train him...what happens when he later smells them in the dog beds? oops.

Crap--good point about the cedar chips, but you cannot use kitty litter as they will eat it and it will cause a blockage from the clumping.

I trust that you will be able to damage much of Bocephus' psyche, darling. He just will not be able to complain about it :-)

I didn't know they would eat it. Yeah that would be a problem if he ate some. Well I guess you are going to have to remember to steer him clear of any kind of cedar stuff later because he might have a potty reaction.

I cannot believe you would blaspheme my mothering skills in such a way, JT.

A pox on you!
