Other odds and ends

This is a particularly chaotic time in this family.

Dad's cancer is back. This time it is a fast growing kind of cancer, totally unlike his original bladder cancer, but it is in the same general area. Surgery is not an option, and we are waiting for meetings with more docs to determine what we can do.

And of course, this all blows up practically on the eve of mom going to the Middle East with her best friend to see my sister. That puts mom in a tailspin about what to do but we made her go and will handle it til she gets back--I don't think the docs can get it together that quickly anyway. She will be back next month, and there is an entire army of people that will help take care of him until then

So here we go--yet another adventure for this family.
