The welcoming crew

Today was a state holiday so I had the day to do stuff--which was mostly exercising and running errands, but whatever. When I got home from one of the runs, I got the big welcome from my peeg--tell me he is not cute standing there with a leaf on his nose. Such a nice peeg he is.


This is him running to me when he saw my car turn into the driveway. He looks like such a little wiggle here--and he is so not. But he loves his mama, and that is what matters most.

With such a welcome from the peeg, I expected some big doings when I actually got in the house. Did I get it? No. Tequila was sleeping away on the couch and was not about to get up just because I got home. That is kind of a kick in the head, isnt it?

She is gaining her weight back though, which is good-- I wanted to take her to the vet to weigh her today, but all that exercising got in the way of that. I also need to take Slater in soon, as he has decided his back hurts sometimes. He will occasionally holler if you touch his back in the wrong place, or he gets stuck in the chair. I am praying he just tweaked it playing or something but you never know.

On my next trip out, I was greeted with this sweet baby. Look at that shaggy coat, I love it. Baby wanted to see me, but mama was having none of it. It kind of made up for Tequila not loving me though, so that is something.

I have a big week ahead of me, so hopefully that will lead to some good blog fodder. I have been very boring lately, do not think I do not know this.
