I was assigned the letter K by Jill at http://jilljillbobill.blogspot.com/ ....to play the game that everyone else is playing. I am supposed to list ten things I love that start with K.
K? Why is the only thing I can think of "keg"? Amy my mom will complain that I look like trash if I put that one. However, I think she should have worried more about me being trashy in my formative years instead of now. So keg will be number one.
See?
1. KEGS. And this is not even entirely accurate, since keg beer is not my preferred method of delivery. I like a tasty and cold bottle mostly, but if we are choosing between having kegs and not having kegs in my life, I will go with having them. Barry and I have been plotting the Kegerator installation in our house for years, but frankly, I am concerned that I would never leave the house again.
2. KERASOTES theaters. Or any theaters--I like going to the movies. I just went and saw Gran Torino, which was WAY better than I thought it would be. Kerasotes just happens to be who runs our local movies.
3. KILLERS. This probably should have been number one. I love me some killers--this is no secret. I love that we will never run out of them, so I will not likely ever be laid off for lack of work. I love to try and figure out how their brains work--why they do what they do, what should be done about it, etc. My favorite are female killers, as they think completely differently than men do and rarely have the same reason for doing it.
4. KOALAS. I love koala bears. In fact, I wish I was one. They sleep 23 hours a day and eat the other hour--and they eat eucalyptus, which effectively gets them high. So they are either asleep or stoned. What better way is there to live--if you are an animal that is. As a person, that would not likely work out well for me, but it would be nice if you could get away with it. I got to touch some once, but the keeper told me they stress out easily--which I find hard to believe, if they are really stones--so not as much as I wanted to touch them and hold them.
5. KNOWING things. I love learning, if it was up to me, I would stay in school for my whole life, learning new things. I have to have brain stimulation all the time. I get obsessed with knowing everything there is to know about whatever I get hooked on--today it is the relative airfares to the Dominican Republic, or St Thomas, or Turks & Caicos for the first week of November. Not that I will necessarily be doing anything about that any time soon, but I want to know about it now.
6. KARMA. I am a total believer in Karma. Whether that means I like it or not, I am not sure--but I am for sure a believer. I guess it is a good thing, because it gives some order to things that might not otherwise make sense. I also am a little afraid of it, but that is good because I refrain from doing totally jackass things because I am afraid of karma biting me in the butt.
7. KANGAROOS. I love kangaroos and those little wallabies that look like kangaroos. When we were in Australia, we went to the Sydney Zoo, cuz God knows I love a zoo- and there you could go in the section that had the kangaroos. They had their own habitat and once you were in there, there was no fence. There were several kinds of kangaroos, and some would come up to you and mug you for food. It was cool. We went to some other preserve place too and saw them- they crack me up.
8. KICKBALL. This was always my favorite game in grade school. I love kicking things. I could work this game. It is also the cause of the one time I actually got my ass kicked. In the 5th grade, I made some crack to a dude in the outfield who let the ball get right my him--and then turned around to commence pitching. And then he jumped me, and laid me out flat on the asphalt. I have never been good at keeping my mouth shut.
9. KEEPING MY MOUTH SHUT. That was a tricky segueway huh? I am not good at this. I have been in trouble since I started talking about not being able to keep my mouth shut.
10. KISS-- the musical kind. I think Gene Simmons is a genius--and I did long before he made Family Jewels and other people find out. I think Kiss puts on the best stage show in the business and the fans are crazy so it is fun to go to. I took Barry to his first one a few years ago--actually he took me by buying the tix as a surprise--and he laughed through the whole thing and really enjoyed it.
That was harder than you would think. If anyone else wants to play, let me know and I will send you a letter

Great list. I am laughing at your ingenuity in coming up with something besides "keg" I was with you there.
I think you did quite well with your letter K.
Speaking of Australia...I think we need to plan a trip back there sometime in the future...and this time for diving!!!
What about, your cousin "KIM". Dumbass, that should have been at least in the top 5.
