The tradition continues

with the arrest of Governor Blagojevich this morning. Man what a piece of work this fool is--how could anyone be so stupid as to not only do the things he has been doing, but to talk about it out loud so that he could be recorded in the process of committing his many kinds of corruption. That takes stupidity to a whole new level.

The question now is whether he will resign and allow the Lt Governor to take over and go about the business of running this state--and my bet is that he will not do it any time soon. He is too arrogant for that.

I do not know why anyone is surprised around here, though--Illinois is so corrupt, it is disgusting.

I haven't really heard about what's going on. I guess I should pay more attention to National news!

Makes us proud to be SOUTHERN Illinoisans, doesn't it?

I posted on this, too. I can't believe what an idiot he is.

His face is plastered all over MSN's homepage. What a MORON!!

I'm just speechless that this moron knew he was under a microscope but continued to partake in his ego driven quest for power and money. I keep thinking that nobody could be so stupid as to do what he has done...he must have been just joking in those wire tap conversations but I know that's not the case. There must be a mental illness he is suffering from. I'm serious. He's got to be mental.

more and more corruption as usual.

he will not resign. As you said, too arrogant.

however, I had no idea he was so blatant or how corrupt he is. That did surprise me.

Arrogant! I don't think he is mentally sick. I think he comes under the category that "geting caught" will not happen to me----it can happen to others. Cause I AM SO SMART.

Like those who drive fast, and never figure they will have an accident. Nope! it happens to others NOT ME. Ha!

Enjoy the news Carol
