I think I may have a problem. I just keep dressing my animals up in costumes.
But I do this every year for the Christmas Cards, and I am very behind this year. So this morning, we did the pics for the cards. Sly was a reindeer this year. Last year he was a Christmas tree with lights--it was kind of lame actually. The first year he was Santa Claus and I loved those pics.
He does not know why all this action is going on, but he is quite happy to wear his reindeer antlers.
But of course, the nose pissed him off and he kept trying to eat it or shake it off, and he broke an antler.
Here he is trying to get his nose off.
It is half off here, but by this time, he had realized the camera was around, so he straightaway lined himself out.
He is pretty much a whore for the camera. We were done in less than five minutes.
I swear, next year I will be more creative and do them earlier in the year. I SWEAR.

haha that is so cute! I love it and have never seen that type of thing before. I also find it funny how he loves the camera. My cat is like that too. Even when he was a baby he'd pose for me.
My goal is to always get GOOD snow pictures to use on next year's cards. But I never actually get around to it, and then by the time the next winter rolls around I'm kicking myself for yet again not having any nice snowy pictures.

Wish I had seen the Tree and Santa. Rudolph looks handsome and important for his job on the 24th.

That is funny! I think you should extend dressing up to other holidays. For example, a Cupid for Valentine's Day would be pretty mortifying for another horse or dog, yet somehow I think Sly would be workin' it. Reuse a Santa beard for Uncle Sam... lol, turkey tail feathers (though maybe he'd be a peacock-like interpretation, that'd be pretty)... now I am just cracking myself up.

I LOVE the reindeer pictures! His color is perfect for reindeer, too. You have a very tolerable horse. I don't think my horse would let me come within 10 ft. of him with antlers, LOL! He won't even let me halter him half of the time! :)
