For Robin and Holly-- a dual purpose post!

Lookie here Holly, Mojo getting ready to touch me--man he is starting to look fat as a house, isn't he? Well, I guess that makes two of us. He was really distracted tonight, the tractor was running in the dark, he had a donkey hollering at him from just outside the round pen--and it is COLD!But he did it, although not well tonight. I had to leave the pen once as he was not paying attention to me.

This pic is for Robin--see, my hair is frozen! And I had my swimming suit on under those clothes, and it is about 20, so I could only last so long before I had to give in.

Mojo's coming along, though. I hope you don't get pneumonia before you leave on your cruise.
Did you do the boxing class tonight? How were your legs after swimming?
Love you,
Mom

THANK YOU! I really appreciate the pictures and I think he's doing very well. Like you said, lots going on so he was distracted. Can't do everything at once.

and you are darn dedicated to do that with wet hair......I'm sure I'd do it after i was warm and dry!

I am glad it makes you happy, cuz I was freezing my ass off.

Had I come home and warmed up, I never would have gone back--it is Celebruty Apprentice night sister! Actually it would not have mattered, once I am in the house I stay in it.

I had to doctor eyeballs anyway.

Mojo is getting a treat tomorrow-- after our work, he is getting turned out to play in the middle pasture--it is going to be a high os 21 on Saturday and I draw the line at doping more than feeding and watering in that weather, so he might as well go socialize!

It's 20 degrees with a wet head of hair... one word...

HAT

Got it? Do I need to KNIT you one?

Paige said...

Now there is a thought. It may come to that--I am not so much a hat person because my head gets hot and with this hair, it ends up REALLY BIG. That is not so much an issue in the barn though , is it?

Mojo will throughly enjoy his playtime I'm sure. You might want to try and see if he will come back to you AFTER he has the initial kinks out of his system. It might be too new or the recall could be installed. I would only do it once, if you do it and are successful, then don't send him away, but just leave quietly. Let him know that coming in, doesn't end the playtime, it just means coming to get a treat and going back to play.

oooooh, being the big tv fan you are - I want to make you a "Jayne Cobb" hat -

Do you know what tv show it is from?

Here's a link to a picture to see if it helps...

And it is JUST your colors... I need you to do ONE thing though... I need you to take a piece of string, twine whatever and wrap it around your head as to how the the hat would sit on your head then tell me how many inches that is... (no use in making a hat that won't fit you)

Good work!

And...20 degrees would be a heat wave here. Heehee.

It even has EARS!

A good enough reason for me not to live there! Cold is not my friend.

a little piece of my hair broke off when it froze too

Lorna said...

Well, get me that dang measurement of the circumference of your head and one week and you won't have to deal with your hair breaking!

My, you are dedicated! I have had the frozen hair before but it was not from being out at the barn after swimming. That's just crazy!

Paige, honey, you must stop going out the barn and freezing your head - and a wet swim suit? I can only imagine what else you froze. Goodness girl.
