Happenings at the NRHA Futurity

While we were disappointed to no longer own Genuine Appeal when she should be showing at the 2007 NRHA Futurity, we are not without connection to it altogether.

Sly's maternal sister, Lemon Twist Sandy, is owned by Tim McQuay. He has consigned her to the Market Place sale on Friday. She is in foal to Reminic N Dun It, for a full sibling to Lemon Twist Nic.

Lemon Twist Nic scored a 220 in the first go of the show this week. Let's cross our fingers that the second run (which should happen this afternoon) goes as well or better, and gets us in the finals!

I like this because it shows the versatility of this family of horses. Sly's sire is pure cutting, as is his bottom side, but this shows that they can cut and rein, and do anything else put to them.
