"Our" first win

Saturday was the local 4-H show, and Taylor A. took her Slybaby, named Shy Baby, to show in weanling halter. I got there just in time, but none of my ring pics turned out, so I only have these candids taken after the class. I expect to receive the Win photos from her family soon though.

That is right--first Slybaby to be shown, first win racked up.

Now I realize that this is hardly AQHA competition, but to me it means so much more. Taylor has taken care of this baby by herself (with her mother's help), and she was so good for her at the show. They just love this baby and are thrilled with how smart she is.

To me, that is the greatest endorsement we can ever have---happy healthy Slybabies in homes that are happy to have them.

Congrats Taylor and Shy!

Congrats!! That is awesome! Looks like a lovely baby even with that big booty that you all love :-)

The big butt is better to go fast and sit down with, instead of the big noggin you freaks like that will make them tip over on their faces--is that why they wear high heels, to keep them from falling over? :)

That is great news Paige. She sure is a cute cute baby. Is she turning grey?

Yeah she is, unfortunately. They did not want gray, but whatcha gonna do when the mare is gray?

A good horse is never a bad color. And besides I know lots of cowboys who love to be mounted on a grey horse.
