"Our" first win

Saturday was the local 4-H show, and Taylor A. took her Slybaby, named Shy Baby, to show in weanling halter. I got there just in time, but none of my ring pics turned out, so I only have these candids taken after the class. I expect to receive the Win photos from her family soon though.

That is right--first Slybaby to be shown, first win racked up.

Now I realize that this is hardly AQHA competition, but to me it means so much more. Taylor has taken care of this baby by herself (with her mother's help), and she was so good for her at the show. They just love this baby and are thrilled with how smart she is.

To me, that is the greatest endorsement we can ever have---happy healthy Slybabies in homes that are happy to have them.

Another Slybaby

I finally got some new pics of the Secret Weapon's Slybaby. They call her Shy, and from all reports, she is delightful. She is sure enough cute, I can tell that much! And evidently a good girl, as she has been bodyclipped for the 4-H fair---that requires some patience that I don't have. Glad someone does! I am so happy for this baby--she has the best people to raise her and train her, a great kid or two to play with her--what more could I want for one?

This photo above just cracks me up--look at this poor half-naked child! She even looks embarrassed, if her ears are any indication. I will probably get in trouble for posting that pic, but I could not help it. And look at the hiney on this kid-
