First turnout for the babies

And Melody's boy put on a show! The filly, Phoenix, did not get too wound up about anything, but the little man sure did.

He ran and bucked and slid around like his butt was on fire, and made all kinds of moves I am not sure are supposed to occur in nature, and I am also not sure he intended to make them....but he was sure fun to watch! These pics were taken on Saturday, when he was two days old.

This kid is a pistol and we are trying to come up with a name that will suit him---definitely not an easy task! If anyone can come up with the perfect, name, please email it to me...I think I will award prizes to the people who come up with the names we are ultimately using.
