Third one is a charm

and is she a doll baby deluxe!

The foal cam kind of came in handy this morning....Barry is out of town working and called me at 7:20 to tell me that Gyro foaled. That is a switch, it is usually me calling him! By the time I was half dressed to go see her, I had another call from my friend Missy telling me to GET UP GET UP! She is the best foal watcher- she always finds one before me.

Gyro had a pretty little red dun filly that is the spitting image of her three year old sister. There is not a thing in the world wrong with that! I cannot wait to get home to take some outside photos of her after work--I just hope the rain holds off.

Sly will have his first lady friend of 2007 this evening as well, assuming she is conducive to the offer. I need to take pics of her as well, since she made a beautiful sorrel Slyfilly for her owners, Tom and Andrea. The babies name is Coco-she reminds me very much in appearance of the Red Devil from last year, but so far acts very much like the new boy--all full of piss and vinegar.
