A day of firsts

Today was a big day for the remaining 2006 babies--their first big snow!

They liked it a lot more than the mamas did---can't you just read their minds when you get looks like this? Gyro is absolutely appalled by what is happening here! Diablo is the smart one- she hid in the shed until she knew lunch was on the way.

Today should have been stripping the stalls day, but the snow blew in the barn and covered up the frewsh sawdust. That put a squash on that plan in a hurry! Oh well, who wanted to do that anyway!

The new resident has arrived and is all snugged up in her stall---hopefully tomorrow will be clear so she can come out and make her debut.
