A busy week

This is Marvin the donkey and Marvin the wonder farrier--they had a meeting of the minds this week and it resulted in a nice trim for both donks, and a humorous afternoon for me. There is nothing that man cannot do with an equine foot.

What a nasty mess this week has been--some beautiful days of up to 60 degrees, then a cold monsoon. Back to a muddy nasty mess.

We did get some things done though-- acquired a new hay supplier which put me straight into serious sticker shock. Haida Girl went to her first sorting and did great!

Not a lot on the agenda this week other than starting up the foal cam. It should be up and running by the end of this week, so we can keep a close eye on the two mares due on March 14 and another on March 19--but I fully expect Xanadu going eight days early as she usually does.
