It seemed at first that not a lot happened during this surgery....certainly not enough to justify it being quite likely the most painful one so far. The most painful part is stuff you can't see, but at least my new tummy stitches are interesting.
The resident took this pic at first dressing change about 12 hours. Still swollen of course... and still is....and not as flat as we would like. It will be though as new internal scar tissue softens up. Pretty cool huh?
