Isn't this awful? The flies are out of control here. The donkeys in particular are being eaten alive. They occasionally have problems with their legs getting chewed up, so I coat them in vaseline and it lets them heal.
Today, they showed me that their faces are also bloody messes. I learned this whene Lorna and Bree were here, and Lorna was immediately headbutted by one of them rubbing his face on her butt---and of course, smeared blood all over her shorts. Nice welcome huh?
Tonight, I put some of that spot fly treatment on them and immediately they felt some relief. I hesitated to lube up their faces, thinking it might make them burn, but they looked so miserable that I did it anyway.
So tomorrow, they may be chewed up sunburned asses.

Do you ever use Nuns Black Oil? It could be Black Nuns Oil. I cant remember. It worked great for healing our animals and stunk so badly the bugs stayed away too.
It was great to see your crew again (and you as well - it has been too long as usual) -
The blood on my ass from your asses didn't bother me a bit considering how miserable they looked.
Now if I could just figure out a way to hoard a few of your herd, I'd be a happy camper!
Wow, that is crazy!! I hope you get it healed quickly!! OH how I HATE stupid flies!!
If it wasn't so serious ( about the flies and faces) it would be funny.
Lorna was the "butt" of the joke and sure Bree and you had a good laugh.
Enjoy Carol
Oh, poor babies!
That is one crusty ass you got there, Miss Paige.
