I have meant to post this forever, but kept having baby news interrupt. Now since I am too tired to do much else, I have a place for it. This is peeg in his mattress. See how he is down inside the mattress? And he has dragged the comforter there in there with him. You cannot imagine how long it took me to get him to come out and have his picture made. And once he did, he would not leave me alone of course.

Now that it is warming up, Bocephus has taken the comforter out of his mattress. He only spends nights in there now, and evidently does not need his comforter anymore. Either that, or Tequila took it to cuddle up with. Boce has been spending more time in his pigloo--I guess that is his summer home.
In other news, Barry made it home from his trip. He is feeling way better now that he is down at his regular level. He thinks he may have gotten so sick this time because the house they stayed in was also at a high elevation. Normally he stays with Shawn at his house, and it is lower down. He may spend all day on the mountain, but at night, he is at a lower altitude. He is still not hungry and he looks like he does not feel that good, and he seems to be really tired. He saw his ear surgeon today who offered little to no help other than saying, "yep, your eardrum is ruptured. Here is your bill." Thanks.
My first personal training went really well, I thought. I am already sore, and was a little shaky all afternoon, but that is how I like it. I have to log my food, which is a humiliating experience, and cut down on the amount of cardio I have been doing. Who would have thunk?

Isn't Boce a handsome boy! Smart too to stay nice and toasty warm!
Glad BS is on the mend. What a horrible experience for a vacation.
Food logging can be really interesting, the key is to log every morsel which is hard because a simple snack or mouthful of something is easy to forget. It makes a world of difference in understanding your intake though. Good luck with the trainer. Sounds like he is right on top of things. I must say (and I told you too) I was concerned about the amount of cardio you were doing and the ability of your body to regenerate after such workouts!
You're doing great and the fruits of your labor are definitely showing.
I've had pigs in a blanket, but I've never seen a pig in a mattress. I LOVE IT! Thanks for sharing that one.
Glad Barry is home and on the mend.
Awww, Boce...give that little peeg a scritch from me. He is a smart one.
I am glad Barry made it home. I am glad he is feeling better but I am disappointed with the doctor.
Sounds like the PT is going to work for you! That is great.
Boce is well, happy and raring to go---do something!
Barry is not well, maybe a little happy to be home and raring to do something-------but - - - -
Hope he gets to feeling better.
congrats to you on your earlier shopping trip. Hooray!
Had a good and not so good time up at Lorna's----sure you know---they INCLUDING BREE which is unusual are sick.
Molater as settling back at home
Enjoy Carol
You KNOW I love this.
Pearl gets in her house and covers herself with straw and when she gets up and comes outside she looks like a sea monster.
I love that pig.
Well, they did that on The Biggest Loser, saying that the exercise and food must be balanced or you will not lose any weight. I could definitely handle LESS cardio, lol!
I am logging my food right now too, and I have to say it does keep me from popping things into my mouth unawares. No I am thinking, do I really want to go look up the points value of those three jelly beans? Most likely the answer is no. I think it helps. Good luck with the training!
Boce is OMG CUTE!! Pigs are so funny. I used to volunteer at a wildlife rescue and we had a live-in pig there named Shakespeare. He was awesome. We loved him.
OMGosh what a cutie pie!!!
oooo altitude sickness...I wonder if we will have to deal with that this summer on our trip out west...hope he gets to feeling better soon
What a cutie-pig! Hope Barry is feeling better, soon!
Love the Boce pic! Sometimes I would like to get in my mattress and not come out!
Cut down the cardio? Give me your trainers number! LOL
Glad Barry made it home and is getting better!
Love the pig pic, but I stil don't think I could have one as a pet!
Awww he is so adorable... by the way Rob and I have been thinking about getting a peeg :) Though I doubt it'll actually happen. 'Tis a dream for now.
Personal trainer! I want one.
I so love your pig - he's a genius.
