Calving season

Evidently it started and I missed it, as these are not fresh babies at all. Still little, but not brand new. These little guys live across the street from me.

They are so cute when they are little.

And then they grow into this, big honking things that are not really cute at all. And stick their own tongues up their noses. They really do not have much in the way of manners.
In fact, they kind of remind me of some of those women at water aerobics. This is how that one lady was looking at me last week. No wonder I was scared.

Oh no, the adults are still REALLY cute! Are those Charlais? I have an odd interest in learning cow breeds...

LOL! Too funny! We are waiting for our babies to hit the ground. We know one of our cows had a calf last week but we haven't seen it yet. I so want to take it's picture!

I have occasionally wondered, if little kids could stick their tongue up their nose like a cow, would they still bother picking it with their finger? Yeah. I think about those kinds of things. Sad isn't it? LOL
