The big news today--besides the continuing saga of my fool ass work-- is that Mojo has gotten settled in his new home in Pennsylvania, and his new family is so thrilled with him. Never has a new owner known so much about one of my horses as these people do, and never has a family had this much to deal with in a horse from my house---and yet, they may be the most excited yet.
Already Mojo has made friends with them and is showing them all he knows and is already moving on to new things.
That does my heart good.
Second thing of the day--Sly is still in the pasture where I put him this morning--and I added a hot jumper to another section of fence. That may be what did it, I do not really know, but I am sure glad he is where I left him. That sort of anxiety is hard on me.
Third thing of the day--the governor was in town today. Pretty much I think he came here to make excuses for being so far behind on state payments. The news featured Barry's boss asking why his company has waited more than a year for the State to pay him--that sort of backlog would wreak havoc on anyone's financial future. Of course, he got the standard answer--it is not the gov's fault. That does not pay the bills
Fourth thing-I just realized that this is the weekend that the Outdoor Channel is supposed to be filming at the farm, I think. This requires nothing from me, but it is good to know when this stuff is going on. I should check into that
I have girl's night out over near St Louis with Jackie and Jodi tomorrow nite. We are meeting for some steaks and silliness, and I cannot wait--I need a nite out with them, and am so looking forward to it.
This week is taking a toll on me, and as soon as I get my energy back up, I will blog about how I am being tortured, but I just do not have it in me right now

you are absolutely right we are thrilled to death with Mojo the Magnificent. I love him. Call me crazy, but I love me a challenge and he is either waiting for the right moment to show me his stuff or he is hiding it well right now! The biggest problem so far? Catching him today when I let him loose in the indoor....and that was just not a biggie.
Cool, your place is going to be on the Outdoor Channel? That's cool. I am glad your horse is doing well at his new home.
I can wait to read the next Mojo story!
Good News abounds----MOjo-girls-Sly and then that other thingee
Governor and work and money
Enjoy your weekend away
