I HAVE to quit reading the news

but it is so fun to find out crazy stuff like this--evidently the path after the State house is the Big house for all Illinois governors in this millenuium. Blago is in deep doo-doo---this was actually posted on the Illinois home page, can you believe that?

Possible Blagojevich Indictment

SPRINGFIELD - Governor Rod Blagojevich may be one step closer to an indictment on federal fraud and conspiracy charges.

CBS 2 News in Chicago reports federal agents believe they have enough evidence to charge the governor. Federal prosecutors are not saying if it has a case against Blagojevich, but it’s clear investigators believe they do.

The investigation into possible fraud and corruption began two years ago. At that time the U.S. attorney in charge said they were looking into allegations of hiring fraud. More recently investigators have been focusing on the governor's tax records. Just last week three IRS agents were assigned to the governor's case. We don’t know exactly what they were looking for. The governor has said in the past he did not break any laws and always filed an accurate tax return. Federal prosecutors in Washington will have the final say on if charges are filed.

My Brother who also works for the wonderful state will love this - need to make sure he sees that link!

Too bad he isn't already in the big house -

No,Carol, not him at all---my guy is officially retired and is not from this area.

And hooves--considering he keeps slashing out budget, it is a good thing for HIM that is not the case, huh?

Thanks Paige for the Paul Harvey "rest of the story" about that Ken.

Just curious----as everyone knows I don't live in Illinois but my great kids do.

And one "still" works for the state like you do.

Thanks and enjoy Carol
