Hammer is almost cured

I took the wrap off tonight, to find that Hammer is down to two tiny lines. The little black spots are freaking GNATS, can you believe that?

His hoof is a little flared but no wonder considering that he has been wrapped so long, he has been standing on it a little goofy. He is being trimmed on the 28th to correct that.

I am hoping to leave him unwrapped from here on out, but he will be checked every day to make sure it is okay. When I tried it last time, that bottom slice opened up again and made him ouchie.

It is amazing to me how he is sound on it, but he has been all along pretty much
