Hawkeye's video

This is a bad video of Hawk after 30 days under saddle. I cannot get the good ones to even load to You Tube, so this is how it has to be. Irritating, this loading big things deal is.

This was only about 7 weeks ago, and he is such a bigger boy now.

Today, he thought he was a really big boy and jumped from the middle pasture lean-to, INTO a stall. To do that, he had to hop a wall that is well over five feet. He made it there, scraping only a little hide off of his left hind leg.

What is it with these yahoos insisting on marking themselves up lately?

Any pictures you take are great and enjoyable for all of us.

DON'T STOP ! ! ! !

Some of us would go into withdrawal and don't forget the stories that go with.

Not a waste of your time or ours.

Love the easy way he carries himself. Is that a Hawkeye thing or is that something Sly dos and passes on? Also loved the nice little pat he got for doing a good job. Whoever the rider is has a nice touch, easy, gentle and firm.

It must be a Sly thing, since a lot of them move like that. His mother is a nice mover too, but is such a beast in size---SO WIDE, I bet she weighs close to 11100 pounds at 14'2"--it does not strike you that way. It feels nice though

In this video, I thought he looked way more tense than he normally does---quicklegged, which he is not, and hesitant, which he is also not.

That is the Secret Weapon riding him, and he finds him contrary. We have not found that at all, but in seeing them together, I see why the Weapon says that.

What amazes me is how much Hawk learned in such a short time, and how he really retained it---which is what usually goes by the wayside with the first bit of training then a lay off
