Snap's wound development

Isn's Snap just so cute you want to kiss her goofy hanging lip? Yes she is standing ina hole, but look at that precious tummy--it looks so much bigger to me in real life than this photo does, but there is no doubt that she is handling this pregnancy way better than she did last year, where she struggled with weight issues. This year, she is a cute little round ball.


Things are moving along with her wound, I guess. It is on the inside of her front right knee.I know they get worse before they get better, but it seems like we should have turned the corner to the getting better part by now and I am not sure we are. I guess I need to scroll back and see what the first pics looked like.

Anyway, this is the ouch today. I did this out in the sunlight instead of after dark when I am limited to the barn lights, so I don't know for sure if I am seeing more than normal or it has always looked a little goopy at the bottom and the barn lights just did not highlight it like the sun did. It still does not smell great, but she moves fine and is not really bothered by it--I let her air it out for an hour or so and she felt good enough to paw a hole where she was tied.

We still have a long way to go, don't we?
