A holiday injury

Or does this count as the injury to celebrate me being gone for the weekend? Who knows.

In any event, poor Snap did something to herself. It is not pretty. It is probably not that bad in the scheme of things, but she is swollen from her hoof to her shoulder--or she was until I doctored her up and put some festive wraps on her. It took two of them to get the injury covered ---the first wrap ended right up in the middle of this mess, so I had to do some finagling. I was proud for having two matching wraps clean! And no, I did not leave that wrap like that, I re-did it with different meds to get it down to her hoof.

Now she thinks she is in tall cotton, being fawned over- but I noticed she did not get after her grain like she normally would, so it is likely hurting more than she let on. She had better get it down though, as her anitbiotics and painkillers are in there.
