LEave it to me to forget I had some business to tend to today. I forgot about a party at Sue's house that I should go to. Thank goodness I remembered and Barry got off work early so he can get ready and we will only be an hour or so late.
We are meeting Blake and Leigh there and then going to watch a basketball game at the Elks. Blake was one of my best friends in college, and his mother Charlotte is one of the Sisters. I am friends with her too, she is swell. I never get to see Blake, but Barry ran into them Wednesday nite, so they made a plan for tonight--good thing too as he reminded me about Sue's (she is a Sister too).
Anyway, Blake lives in Alabama with his wife and 2 year old son (who I have yet to meet). Leigh is in law school, I have no idea how she does all of it. Blake is a hydrogeologist, of all things.
We should have a fun nite.
Meanwhile, Mandy is in Guatemala playing with Gabi. I bet it is not 37 degrees there.
My other projects for the weekend are buying Barry a new suit and finding myself some dress up shoes for the cruise. Then we are having dinner with Jackie and Pete and Charlie, and Jackie's two year old, Jack.
I do not know when I am taking a nap or throwing away another 100 shirts

Did you have fun? You are always going somewhere aren't you...
Friday night was fun, even if it was early for me. Did you and the Snodsmiths have fun at the Elks? I'm glad you had time to spend with them. It has been a long time.
Aren't those sisters swell? You sisterettes are pretty swell yourself.
Did I tell you how pretty you looked Friday night? Well, you did.
Have you checked Gabi out? She's into the tongue action big time.

We had a lot of fun, and it was fun at Sue's too- I had not talked to Michelle in a long time, so that was nice too. Sue's new house is beautiful
