Christmas with the Clarks

This is Mom's Christmas tree-she gets really into decorating for holidays, and Christmas really gets out of control. On the right is her stocking tree--which has people stockings on top, and on the bottom is stockings for the dogs. They all have their names on them, and Mom said she made them at school last year with her students. The thought of her ironing all those little letters on there cracks me up--when I made dog stockings for Phoenix and Sahara 14 years ago, I think I was a little tipsy and they were hideous. Mom's are way better.


This is Mandy and Edward's bog Izzy--she is in no way right in her head. She is a Viszla, and I think about 5 years old now. She has never been right in her head, but she sure is funny--Barry just keep nothing what a little dog she is.
It was a very funny evening, all around. Mom made these new twice baked potatoes she had not made before, and they are my new favorite food I think. Too damn hard for me to make though. Mandy liked my green bean casserole even though I thought I got carried away with the red pepper.

Poor Nudie had the bad guts, and shit right in the middle of the present opening, the poor old guy. It did add for some corny comments like "This is sure a shitty Christmas". I think that was Edward's contribution. It does not sound funny, but the whole experience was hysterical, I thought I was going to have to have a respirator from laughing so hard.




Mom got new golf shoes from Dad. That was a pretty good gift. That is my Gran Gran on the right. Dad always guesses his presents which is really irritating, but he did not guess them all last nite. I suspect he will be on the computer at least until New Years Eve, trying to figure out how to load pics on his new digital picture frame. Good, it will keep him busy for a while, but I bet I end up having to go over there and do it myself.


That pretty much wraps up the Christmas Eve activities last nite.
