New cool feature of my blog

This is sweet--AmyJo hooked me up with a new stat counter that lets me know who is viewing my pages, how long they are on, where they came from, where they live, etc.

I am LOVING this....who knew I was such a nerd? Really, what am I going to do with this info, I ask you?

I feel like I am doing nothing lately. I do not know why that is. I was home by a 7:40 last nite. That is kind of wierd, especially since I worked til 6. Granted, Barry was home, so things went way faster at the barn than usual, but still....that was fast.

Not only did we feed everyone, clean two stalls, throw hay, etc, but we rounded up the mares from the back pasture that need their feet done today. This sounds easier than it actually is. But it went like cake--only one horse in the wrong place. We doctored Nita's foot, which is clearly leaking abcess at the coronet band, so she should have some relief....but one time you look at her, and she is moving better, then the next time, she is hurting bad again. I do not get it. I gave her a night out of the boot with just iccthammol around the coronet band, but after looking at her this morning, I guess it is going back on. I will have Marvin check her out tomorrow nite, as he had to reschedule from tonight til tomorrow to get his hay unloaded.

This morning Squeak went to the round pen to play--she has been in getting her eyes doctored three times a day. Since I have to run home mid afternoon to do it every day, I do not have time to chase her ass down-thus she has been in the stall for a week. She could care less, actually, but I felt bad for her, so she is in the round pen today. Her eyes are definitely looking better, which is a relief. I will continue these drugs til they are gone though, then be on the lookout for the next flareup.

My Dad is having surgery today, so I have to take care of his dog until he gets home for the hospital tomorrow.

I am still driving with no sticker on my Toyota--better get on that. I have a dentist appt at noon today--good thing they called to remind me or I flat would have missed that!

Barry is not going out of town this week after all, so maybe we can get some fences up. He is still working non-stop on the new tractor. That makes me insane. We need to ride the hay field fence line and make sure no more errant hunters have cut anything else down so we can turn some horses out on it. It won't offer much in the way of feed, but is better than nothing for a couple weeks maybe. I am sure there is something to repair as I saw our tape fence wadded up on the ground, when Madison and I were out there last. The nerve of people amazes me--we only use that to patch the old fence which is really overgrown and protected by trees and brush, but it is there for a reason---now to find out where it came from so it can be replaced.

I think I will wean Squiggy and CC tomorrow after their mamas get their feet done. I better check the almanac on that.

Not much going on here today I guess!

Well hell no--I did not realize it was the same deal---but how do I check it if I did not set up the account?

That is a cool feature and free?

If you didn't set up the acct then you can't access it without the usr name and passwd. I would just set up a new project on the one you set up for your blog, then we can put the new counter code in your webpages and you'll be able to see who is hitting your website too.
