Well it had to happen sometimes---Boce had to be given the chance to be outside, but not in his pen. Friday evening was so nice, I decided to let him roam while I sat on the porch and read a book. He waddled all over the yard, wuffling to himself like he does. It was a big night for the little dude.
It was pretty funny. I lost him once, but once it got dark, he wanted to hang out with me. He is still very short though, so he could not get himself on the porch without help. For some reason, he cannot grasp the concept of using the steps, although I saw him go up the one step that leads to the driveway, and he had no trouble with that.
This photo of him standing on his hind legs shows his new favorite position--later that night, he stood up at the edge of the bed to ask for something, and then on Saturday, he "helped" me pay bills, by putting his feet on the chair and rooting at my leg.
This morning, we moved his pen and filled his Pigloo with straw--he is just deside himself with excitement. He seems confused that it is all for him, but that might be because you cannot even SEE inside the Pigloo for all the straw in it. I am sure he will love it though.
He gets more fun all the time, even Barry is starting to like him. It is practically impossible not to, as he is such a funny little dude.

Too cute! Who is pig sitting while you are gone?
What a sweetheart - with him standing up like that - you should teach him to sit up - bet he could do it!!!
Such a good Boce!
