I sure hope this tractor is it! After several hauling mishaps, it arrived today and we were mowing by tonight. This tractor is a 1994 Belarus, 60 hp with a front end loader and a 6 foot mower. Way more machine than we have in our little Ford who not only is not man enough for the jobs I need, but is evidently being held hostage by the tractor repair man.

My reaction to the ability to mow is not normal. I was GIDDY mowing away in the near dark, choking on the dust clouds. Barry got the front pasture done, and I started on the senior's lot, but have a lot longer to go. It will probably take another 15 hours to get the place done, but I am going to love every minute of it.
I am suspicious that these high weeds are what poked Rock's eye, leading to the 6 times a day treatment and praying she will not lose all her vision in it. Of course, I will never know, and it is hardly the first eye poking around here, but I am really getting an intense pleasure out of mowing these mothers down to the dirt.
So if you need me, I will be the one you cannot see in the dust tornado in the back 40!

Oh man, what a cool new toy.. Now if I hear or read that you "broke" this one - I'm going to have to come down there and beat your @#$%%. ha ha
uh oh.
Is that a 4 wheel drive? Looks like one by the tred on the front tires. Looks like you are having lots of fun distroying them weeds. I know the feeling of the whirlwind dust cloud, been there done that. Have you ever had a loader? Mmm they are lots of fun, you will be moving stuff all over with that thang. Love them loaders and could never live without one.
Yes it is four wheel drive.
We have a loader for the little tractor, but it is too big for the tractor, so driving it with it on is miserable. We took it off to get a hydraulic thing fixed and it was so much easier to drive without it, we never put it back on!
I am excited about this whole event. We need a different type of bale spear than we have, and Hutch lent us his to move hay this morning, and we need some forks as well--so those are on the short list.
I don't think I get to mow today, but those weeds better watch out!
I thought it was a 4 wheeler, good job. I personally like the forks for the rear, you know the ones that slide under the bale and lift it up. But the spear for the front loader is great for stacking bales or unloading from a semi trailer. Remember to keep some weight on the back end when you are using the bucket for heavy stuff.
Ok, when are you bringing that bad boy down her to mow my pasture?? I can't get anyone to even call me back.
Congrats! Maybe someday I'll get one :)
That is what I could do! I could pimp myself out to mow when the other people do not show up!
I LIKE your new tractor! Can I borrow it? LOL It's a good size too! Now just to not run it slam into the mud (if it ever rains that is.) It sure looks like BS was having a good time on it! ; ) Boys and thier toys huh? LOL
