Apparently I think I am some sort of horse rider, so I rode three of them tonight. One was Aries, that I have never ridden. We got her in the spring after a bone chip above her knee kicked her out of cutting training, and I just never bothered as I did not want to aggravate anything. But it has been long enough, so up I went. MAN, is she a nice horse. Super nice. Freakishly nice. I really enjoyed her. She was so easy and light, willing and responsive, and really fluid in her movements. What a shame she got hurt just six months into her training so she never got to do anything with it.
The funniest part of the night was when Barry made some crack about how brave I am, and the little girl that helps me made a crack about how brave he is to be working on that tractor, it might run over him. Some of the funniest things come out of her and it is so easy to forget how young she is.
It was a really nice night and I needed it after my crappy day. It is amazing how a whole day can turn around when I get to spend time with the horses and DO something I want to do, not that I have to do.

ok I'm the slow one not getting to the comment sec of this thing LOL.. Awsome you bought her I belive she is the one you put photo up on and started a little stir LOL.. Sounds like great thing you did get her she looks nice and well mellow looking for not being rode all that time CONGRATS on her and your bravery to boot!

good eye Desiree! that is her, and no she is not perfect but she brings a lot to the table. And she looks like a new woman to me too
