Look at this fool. He has decided his litter box is some sort of spa...covers his whole head up with cedar chips, and I swear he looks like a drag queen the way they attach to his eyelashes. He is starting to come when you call his name, which is hysterical because I hear little pitter pats of his nails in the hallway, then he magically appears.
Now to remind him of the true purpose of the litter box. When I got home last nite, he was missing, and I ultimately found him all rolled up in the bath mat in the hall bath. This morning, he made his way to the living room and wadded up the cowhide rug...how he managed that big step that is over his head, I will never know, but I am learning not to underestimate him.
He sure is keeping this house on its toes, and is so much fun!

Bocephus is adorable. Has anyone started a betting pool on whether or not this porker really ends up at the barn? LOL
And you say he's not spoiled. Yeah right..... ROFL He's so cute. Love the pic with the chips. I guess he likes the smell. It's better then what most pigs smell like! ;)
He is so friggin cute and what a character.
We shall see, I sure HOPE he ends up over there. But who knows, right now he is so much fun, other than this misunderstanding of the litter box, which he used to be so good at.
I cannot believe you people think I spoil my pig. The nerve of you
Hmmmm. I am willing to bet he becomes the offical greeter to all who knock at the door. He sure is super cute. Has he gone for any gator rides yet?
Not yet--he even got to take his harness off already. Soon it will be back on for leading lessons though. He was not taking too well to them to start with. So far, he has just been in the house, and either a crate or the Pig Condo we made him in the front yard.
I suspect if he even smells freedom, we will never see him again!
A pig condo...in the front yard?
Well that may be overstating it! Iti s two of the Danes exercise pens put together, so it is 64 square feet. He has a dog house to hide in, a bunch of blankets to roll up in and root around, and some toys to cuddle with if he sees fit. He does not.
There is a roof over part of the pen so he can get out of the sun but not be in the dog house.
And it is portable so we can move it. I would have put it in the backyard where people could not see it, but I was afraid Slater and Simba would find a way to eat him, and in the front yard, only Thor can see him, and he is still pretending he does not exist (but they did take a nap together this weekend)
good lord Paige - what is next???
He is adorable. And yes - SPOILED!!!
You are a typical "first time mom". LOL
He is too cute! You need to just give up and admit that the pig will never likely be sent to live at the barn!! Are you going to bring him along on trailrides, too?
