


and his upper arm muscle on the left is basically gone. He has just a bit of a limp. He has lost a lot of weight, but it is the muscle wasting that concerns me the most. Compare the picture of his left shoulder in the picture from last nite and the picture that was taken exactly one month ago.
I am pretty freaked out. Imagine that.
He is also lethargic--you would not notice it probably if you did not know him like I do, but he is definitely not right. I left him with a babysitter today, and am waiting on the vet's call from looking at the photos, but I am really anxious now. I vaccilate from thinking he will be fine, to thinking OH NO....can horses dislocate a shoulder? And recover? That is kind of what it seems like, but surely that would be super painful, and he does not mind if you push on it at all.
Cross your fingers we will have an answer we can work with soon.
