The Devil comes by it honestly

Well well well....another interesting discovery after work today. Right off the bat, I noticed Playmate AGAIN did not come to dinner, so this time I knew where to look for her. Sure enough, she was on the other side of the fence again.

She makes me insane. I now see where Haida Girl gets her squirrelly ideas about keeping herself entertained (the Memorial Day escape in particular)--Playmate is her mama. Anyway, I brought her back, turned her out and went to investigating. Fence repairs good-- check. No new fence damage- check.

This left only the actual cattle pass for her to have gone through, but we had wired shut the end of it on the other side of the tracks, so how could that be?

Well evidently, you don't get to be 26 years old by being stupid--ol girl figured out she could not get there by going through down fence, so she went through the pass. I knew as soon as I got down there that she had been there--she has monster feet and I would recognize those footprints anywhere. I went all the way through to confirm, and I had to bend over at the waist, so how a 15 hand horse did it, I will never know. No doubt about it though, she did---and tore up the gate on the far side.

Now there is a brand new corral panel chained to the entry--I would love to see her face when she gets down there and cannot get in the pass. She will be fit to be tied--I wish I had a security camera--but it is way too far from a power source to work. What in the world is going through her mind?

Whatever it is, it does keep things interesting.
