The babies are growing up!

Yesterday was farrier day again (doesn't it seem like it always is around here?) What that means is that I had a pack of broodmares tied in a row along the fence line waiting their turns, and babies who went off to play by themselves. When the whole group got put back together, I swear it seemed like the babies had grown six inches! They are so big, it seems to me--especially Hammer.

I did not get any pics of the assembly line, but I do have some pics from this week of my growing babies. The top center one is Hemi--Hotrod's filly. She is a beast--look at that chest! And her butt matches. The next one is Fuzzy's filly, on the right, she is all girl. And the left shot is Phoenix, the oldest, who is Xanadu's filly. She is shedding out all crazy and is about 14 shades of red dun. Very pretty though, and sweet.
