They just keep sneaking them in on me! I was in a hurry to get to a show Friday morning, so left Barry to feed and check babies. This sort of behavior almost always causes me to get a baby--and this time was no exception.
Miss Hotrod was 9 days later than she usually is and had shown no signs of foaling--other than actually foaling, that is.
She gave us our two favorite things---a filly and a red dun one at that. She did so good I will forgive her for sneaking it past me. These pics are at two days old.
She is sure pretty and a little bit sneaky--she already tried to run away from home and she did it right in front of me as I tried to take pictures of her. I hope this is not a sign of things to come!
