Woo-ey is it cold!

Winter is finally here! It is about 15 degrees with wind chill around 2----and this is the time I choose to get sick and Barry to be out of town.
The nice thing about cold like this is you can cheat on picking stalls--the poop freezes! It will save a day or so. That is my story and I am sticking to it!

Miss Foxy is really packing on the weight- it seems that every couple of days I have to re-adjust her blanket belly straps, as it gets a little snug. It is so cute to see that baby growing all the time. Not that they all are not growing, but since she is in on the special feed program (along with Lucky), I see her tum more than the others.

We also brought in the Midget from the back pasture. She needs to have her pictures taken so she can be sold...hard to advertise her without pics. She is so cute --just little. People keep telling me she would make a great hunter pony, but damned if I know how to go about that! She seems to have changed colors yet again...now she is headed back to being sorrel--even her mane is no longer that silvery gray except in sections.....I will never get that kid, that is for sure.

If I do not freeze to death by the weekend, hopefully I will get that done.

One more day til February and I PROMISE, I will be a better blogger in February
