Advice needed on warts gone wild

I know it is perfectly normal, and I know they will go away on their own eventually, but this is out of control. Look at this poor fool. I have done all the things that always work--like make them bleed to stimulate his immune response, and what happened? They got worse. This has gone on at least for three months and I think longer than that--it has probablyh been that long since I aggravated them

It does not even look as nasty in this photo as it does in real life, I swear.

Does anyone have any home remedies for this? The vet tells me of course that it will pass--which I know it will, I just feel awful for him that it has to hurt.

Bring on the cures, folks, we need them!
