And another crappy thing, while I am at it

Evidently the two donks have been leading secret jailbreaks. Unbeknownst to us, they have been going through the hotwire on the far side of the pasture and moseying around in the corn field that someone rents next to us (which is actually part of the larger plot of land ours is in as well). We have seen no evidence of this, but the neighbor stopped by and told us this last nite, and I have no doubt that it is true. I certainly do not want bad neighbor relations.

This means we have to RE-fence that line. We are putting up a solid barrier on it this time---1500 feet of No-climb horse fence with a top rail of solid oak. This is not what I want, but since none of this was in the budget at all, I sure cannot afford the pipe I really want.

The frustrating part is that we have tried to buy that section of the property for years and the owner, who originally agreed to sell it to us with the original two parcels we have, won't sell it now. I am quite sure that as soon as we spend all this money on this fence, he will change his mind and let us buy it after all, thus causing up to have pissed off all this money. If that is what it takes though it will be worth it.

I have been on the horn all morning looking for the oak we need. Every store wants to sell me pine for an exorbitant costs, and everyone knows that horses love to eat some pine boards, so that is not going to happen. I finally found someone who will custom mill oak for us, and ordered it right up.

Hope the rest of this project goes as easily as possible.
