AWOL

I have been awol since Friday and I am no damn better today--sorry. I got distracted playing with Mike and Jenna Friday nite, where I got the Bare Minerals makeover--I really like that stuff, so I am going to get some this week when I head to the aeropuerto. I came home from that activity with a little buzz and thought it was a good idea to start bidding on other breedings on another stallion auction since I got beat out of some I thought I was going to steal on the Augusta auction. I was more reasonable than I would have thought, and will know the results Monday at 5 pm.

Barry got my car out of the snow yesterday, so I was free to roam around the world--and boy did I. I went to tan, then went to work out with mom, wearing my new padded butt shorts for bike riding. I bet they would help if my ass was not so sore, especially the tailbone, from riding three days in a row. Then I went to Kroger to get me some bargain Lean Cuisines-which I loaded up on. Now I have to eat the damn things. Oy.

Then as I was headed home, I heard the girls basketball game on the radio and decided I should see it, so I called mom to see if she was there--she was NOT. Very unlike her, but she came up to meet me so we could watch it. One of her last players is on the verge of breaking the all time scoring record for our high school and I do not want to miss it. Anyway, mom brought Gran Gran, who had to be rescued from her town where there is no power, no water, or no nothing, due to the ice storm. That was good, so I got to see her. I have a crazy week ahead with oral argument on Tuesday and much to do before I head to Vegas for girls weekend on Thursday morning.

Then I went to the farm, only to realize that I cannot go to the farm due to snow. I left my car and moseyed in to take some pics---in my padded butt shorts, and tennis shoes. It felt like a heat wave out there, tromping through the snow--I think it was 39 degrees, so it is melting fast--but there is so much of it, it will be a while.

We went to a movie last nite--Paul Blart, kind of silly. But the big deal of the day is exercise on a Saturday, which is usually exercise free day but due to the storm and no car, I was way out of the exercise deal all week. It feels so much better to be back on track. And I made it through the whole day playing with recipes to let me still eat pizza and still stayed under probably 1400 calories. I dont really count them, but I am trying hard to be reasonable, which is so not my strong suit.

Today so far, Barry has blown my diet by making me eat breakfast out. Damn him. And we ran a couple of errands and are now back watching the Illini game and I am on an organizational streak--I cleaned out two cabinets in the kitchen. Have you ever heard of such a thing? This is the current scene in my house right this minute--Tequila is laying on Barry's lap, I have no idea why. They are so cute together though--she keeps laying her head on his shoulder. And he is complaining about how dirty she is and her bad breath.

I think something weird is happening to me. Maybe it is because Barry has been home all week and I am so out of the practice of that. Maybe it is because my Verizon bill for my internet service had 190 bucks of overages on it, so I am afraid to be on here very much--but I do not want that to be the case, or he will take it away from me to make me do more work. Which would totally suck.

We are supposed to go on a bike ride after this Illinois game is over and before we go to the Super Bowl party--does anyone really think that will happen? It is in the 40s so I hate to miss it, but I am starting to wonder just what in the hell has gotten into me. I so should go, if only to burn off a few beers you know I will drink up at the party.
