What is that look on her face? She looks troubled.
Do you think that she could tell when I stopped by to check on her during my mandatory lunch hour today that I had a really bad day?
Could she see, even though she is mostly blind, that I had been crying all morning?
Or that I am so frustrated that I cannot concentrate, and my stomach hurts all the time, and now my face hurts from crying? Or that I see no end in sight for any of this?
She looks like she gets it and would make it better if she could. She looks worried about me.
How can it be that an animal who cannot see, can see all that, and the people who are supposed to take care of you can refuse to see?

Thanks for having my back on the whole Devil in the White City! Yeah, it wasn't very good.
Anyway, I will be back!
Oh damn Paige. I wish I was closer. I would whup some ass for you. I hope it gets better soon. Big hugs,
C
Of course she knew you had been crying.
Look at that face.
What a lovebug.
Looks like Squeak is sayin "talk to me girl". She must be feeling your stress.
You need a new job, Paige. Have you put out your resume or started looking around? I know you say your position is really fulfilling but the coworkers are horrible... but you could help different clients in a different way from somewhere else. Somewhere you're not miserable. You don't deserve this. :(
I hate to see people hurting. :(
Sounds like a shitawful day you had. I hope something gets better soon.
OK...what have I missed??? I am sorry that life is so bad for you right now. :(
Not to change the subject, but your eyebrow post cracks me up!!! I also have crazy, curly eyebrows...lol!!!
PS-You are right! I forgot to mention the luck of the draw. The clinician kept stressing that fact too!! I guess I am a bad student afterall.
she definitely looks concerned. People tend to think about themselves where animals are there for others than themselves.
See! ! ! Squeak knows! ! !
Tie a knot, and hang on until you think of some way to handle your office situation.
Or better still---- have a "hanging party" even if in effigy---
Try to enjoy Carol
I'm so sorry, Paige. I hope you have a better day today. (Yes, she knows.....)
Oh I am sorry you are having a bad time. I would give you a big hug, and hand you tissue. I go see my horses when I am having a hard time to. I love the warmth and strength they give. I hope all gets better for you soon. Sweet Horse, She looks like she know you need a hug.
Sometimes people just suck Paige. That's a fact. But our pets/animals truly understand the unconditional love. We take care of them and they take care of us. No questions asked.
And yes, that pic does look like she knows something has been weighing on your heart and mind and she wants to help you with it. {HUGS}
Due to the reduced eyesight, her other senses have heightened - and her instinct tells her you needed attention and comfort. Yes, absolutely she knows.
Remember what you told me, make a list, and start knocking things off one by one so they are not so stressful. (and if that includes people - so be it - LOLOL)
Hang in there! Come for a visit! We can hang out!
Animals always know. They are the best pick me uppers. Hope things get better.
ok, i don't own a horse, but my #2 daughter says she can talk to them...and sometimes, i really think she is! that horse is loving you in a way that no person can...maybe because the best thing is that she listens and doesn't judge and just loves no matter what...she's knows you...
aw haha it is really hard for me to read a horse's face usually but I can see that one!
You and I are both having bad times lately huh.
