And today started the countdown to all the things you have to do to get a horse ready to move. He came in from the back pasture to get ready for the vet to come do Coggins and health certificates, get dewormed, take his fall shots, etc.
Tomorrow he gets his hair tended to, to get the cockleburrs out, and if it is not raining, he will get his trailer-loading school after work. Mojo needs a lot of remedial education, so that is what will be happening over the next few weeks---such as more tying, he needs a farrier appointment, etc. He lacks a basic respect for authority, which oddly does not culminate in him being in your space all the time--which is nice. Most of these babies learn things on their own, and I honestly do not know how much time has been spent teaching him to tie, etc, or if he just does it like the rest of them do.
I guess we will find out. He is going to have a great life in Pennsylvania.

isn't he cute??????
I think that he is freakishly handsome. Maybe it is a presence thing.
And the cockleburrs add a little something, don't you think?
well cockleburrs or not (and really, we don't need more here) Courtney and I are excited to get him here.
get him here?! Mom, are you getting him?! What is happening?!
i had no idea so much work went into prepping a horse to move.
Yippee for Holly and Courtney!!!
He is a stunningly handsome boy. Definately full of himself!!!
He is the only horse I have seen come into the world.
