Day 1 of Target's schooling

I am "patiently" awaiting Susan's first impressions of young Master Target. She did not work today so was going to spend some time feeling him out. I sure hope he is being the good boy he was yesterday and not the jackass he was earlier in the week.

I really hope he pans out, he is such a handsome boy and so smart. His mom was sure easy to start and never gave us a bit of trouble with anything--I will never forget her on buffalo very early on in her training. I think she is one of the first of ours that was started on buffalo rather than cows. Hopefully, Target will have that same easy going nature to take things in stride like she did.
