I heard this last nite but it was not confirmed for me until just now. Tuesday nite, someone tried to set Madison's house on fire. Her little sister's bouncy seat was outside and it was set on fire, which led to the siding going. The mailbox is also melted, so that was a separate act (and right next to the farm mailbox) The newspaper says there was some evidence that one of the vehicles was also targeted.
Now what the hell? I know vandalism is common in the country, but isnt this going a little far? A neighbor saw the flames at 2 am and woke them up. Thank goodness someone saw it or it would have been a real tragedy.
It also kind of scares me about being alone at the farm late at night, which is one of my favorite places to be all the time

I wonder if this is the same bunch that set your horse's loose the other night??
you have those big dogs there is no way someone would want to mess with you/them, and i'm sure no one can come up your driveway with out one of the dogs going off.

You know, you may have something there. The dogs live here at the house though and this all went on at the farm--and Madison lives across the street from there.

Yeah that would have me freaked out. I had the same thought of the idiots that let your horses loose. I really hope no one gets hurt, 2 or 4 legged.

Is it possible that if this bunch set your horses loose, and Madison and her family discovered it and helped recover the horses---- now they have become a target also for being friends with you. sure hate to think of it this way.

This is disturbing. How is Madison handling this? There are sick people in the world-it is too bad that ultimately there is no real protection from them.

I am horrified. How is Madison handling this? It is unfortunate (an outrage) that normal people are ultimately not protected from lunatics.
Maybe it's time to install surveillance cameras in strategic spots around the farm's perimeter? It just amazes me how much people suck these days and the extremes they will go to if left unchecked.
