Hope these fare better

Thursday nite, Madison told me the cat was knocked up. Huh, I say, guess it is no wonder, since I cannot catch her to have her fixed. This is the same cat , I assume, that had kittens before and hid them in the tall grass such that I mowed them. Very traumatic, I hope she is smarter now.

As of Saturday nite, she is no longer pregnant. We have three little black kitties- they are BRAND NEW. I hope they do okay. I do not even like cats, but baby anything is cute.

Ohhhhh, I love black cats. My first cat was a black cat. Sumi was her name. If you were closer to me Paige, I would definitely take one of those fuzzy wuzzies. Good luck with them, don't desturb them and mom will most likely leave them where you found them. Maybe put a box right around there that is half closed so if she chose to hide the babies, she will in a safer location then the high grass. I'd put a bit of straw in there also, just a thought...

I have learned that lesson. She did have them between two of the huge square bales, but evidently there was too much activity there--well no wonder, we are feeding off of those bales- so she moved them behind the bales against the wall. It is a pretty closed off deal, I could not even see them last night, but I could hear them. Baby kitty cries are so cute.

There are so many great places to keep kitties at the farm, I am sure she will pick a good place this time

Oh, they are so cute Paige. At least you know about these ones and after what happened last time I am sure you will be looking out for them.
