Then today, some good things have happened.
1. I found what appears to be good hay, alfalfa, which will be delivered next week. It is only 120 a ton, so the semi will cost 36-3700 with transport. Boy howdy, that makes my head hurt, but it will feel good to have hay.
2. The State conceded error on one of my cases. That never happens, but does my heart good. Now watch the Court disagree with both of us.
3. Justice Rarick, who retired from the Illinois Supreme Court a few years ago, was at the Appellate Court today for some reason. He sent word with another attorney to say hi to us all, but especially to me, as I was his favorite oral arguer. That message got passed along to my boss without my help, which is particularly sweet since he used to warn me that I was getting too informal with the Court. Vindication is sweet, plus I love Rarick, he is the sweetest man in the world. I miss him so much.
4. I am going to wean some babies today. Maybe two, we shall see.
5. We have a party for Charlie tonight ( a surprise) to celebrate him winning the AQHa Select World Championship in team penning on his old mare, Miss Nifty. That should be fun.
I guess today is looking up. I hear it might rain too, but I will believe that when I see it.

Love your blog. Between you and your sister, I can kill at least 15 minutes a day. Of course, some of it merits reruns. I noticed the door last Fri. Try some WD-40. It seems to be sticking.
Love you,
Mom
