He really is doing well--other than getting his butt kicked by all the mares he is running with right now, so that he has marks all over him. Some swelling is still there and his drainage hole had healed over, so I opened it up again tonight to get it flowing again. He no longer cares what I do about him, and oddly, he has decided I am fine people and he is quick to greet me at the gate-- a very nice development and a little surprising after all I have put him through over the last weeks.
His weight gain has slowed down, but I guess that is normal since he is not
so far down, like he was, and he is not eating nonsrop alfalfa like he was when he was stalled. He is by no means the man he was, but I am starting to see flashes of having him back!

He is looking good. Glad it all worked out and nothing serious was wrong. Now he can go to the trainer next.
