How odd-- today we have more swelling in the left side of his chest, but virtually none in the abcess site. A good cleaning to get the drawing salve off opened up this monster hole in it, so we shall see what that does for him. I am concerned about that significant change in his chest, dang him.
He and Squeaklet also saw fit to remove about 8 oak boards from the wall between their stalls. He seemed quite pleased with himself. So much for isolation, I guess.

What did the culture say? Is he on any SMZ yet? Maybe it is another abcess getting ready, is it hard or soft? When it gets hard it should break out, can you see a head on it yet?
He would not let me mess with it much tonight, he was in a mood. He is tired of being doctored. There is no soft spot anywhere, I know that much.
I am back on the horn with the doc in the morning
hmmm, that whole is significant, but good. Is it hot? does he have a temp? How is he eating and all that jazz?
No temp, I don't feel much heat in that area at all now, especially compared to what it was, and he is eating everything in the building. He must be in a race to put his weight back on, and I bet he has gotten halfway there already. If I have a helped tomorrow, I will get some full body shots to show that gain
