It is not just me

who has these problems with animals. In fact, I am not even close to being the worst! My friend Linda is a saint...she gets calls all the time to take animals that need help. She just got in this teeny tiny fawn, which she is caring for until the wildlife rehabber can take him. She says he is surely only a few days old, and weighs less than five pounds. Is he not the cutest thing you have ever seen? He is currently in the bathroom, so you can see how tiny he is where he is lying next to the toilet.
Linda also has a rabbit (among many other things). She is named Melvin, for some reason, and she has to go places with them. It is not at all out of the ordinary for us to go camping for the weekend, and Melvin comes too, as it is pretty hard to get help to feed a person's rabbit. They dont just make rabbit sitters like they do dog and cat sitters, I guess.
People like this are few and far between. Linda gets all the credit for being the good one who saves all the animals, but her husband Randy who is constantly complaining about them all does his part too--he just does not want anyone to know he is as big a softy as he is. He is outed now, though!

What a beautiful baby! I would be trying to cuddle it in the bed though & could so see you doing the same! Thank goodness there are folks like Linda & Randy to take care of all the needy furry babies out there!
