Baby Gypsy grows up

It was bound to happen, but now that she is in the family way, Gypsy's body changes every day. She has the cutest little tummy, and has since just after she was bred, it is so interesting. She too has found herself a girl crush in Aries, which makes sense, because they are close to the same age.

The pic of their faces, cracks me up, even thought it makes them both look kind of ugly----it reminds me so much of those hundreds of sorority function pics where you smack your face up against someone's for the shot. Why do people do that? It looks stupid. I bet I have ten scrapbooks of exactly this same picture in people form.
This photo in particular looks like me and AmyB after we have been at an activity for entirely too long---note Aries' ears looking like she has been at happy hour all day!

Don't laugh, you know you have the same pictures!

She is growing up and looking so beautiful. All your mares look great. I LOVE the head shot, "best friends" picture. Very pretty girls that look so happy and content being first time moms.

Hey I am laughing all the way upstairs to get another cup of coffee.

"Family way" OMY Gosh, have not heard that expression in a long time---thought it was gone gone gone from everyone's vocabulary in this day and age.

How delightful, charming, imaginative and cute.

but "Mom to be" is beautiful.

Thanks, Gypsy is special to me. she always has been. I had saved that name from when I was a little girl and read some books about a horse named Gypsy--I wish I could find them again.

She makes me happy

AmyB, it was only half past 11am when you posted that. Yup your Paiges friend. LOL

Paige are you the redhead?

At Amy's hosue, it was only 9:30!

I guess I would have to be the redhead--Amy cleans up better than I do!

Awww...how cute.

I think it is soo neat to mark the progression from baby to adult to parent in a horse.

Angel did the same thing when we bred her - she went from lean and lanky to full bodied girl.
