We don't have many snow days. Busses also do not run if it is deemed to dangerous (ice or snow drifts).

But there would be no way a store or rec center (pool) would close due to snow...otherwise we would be out of luck seeing as how we have snow from mid-October until mid-March (sometimes April). I bet we dont have more than two snow days on average, though.

Ice is a bigger more common problem than snow is here.

And your entire refinery shut down this week, didn't it?

Oh well, in a week, we wont have to worry about thisPaigehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01552625379617724485noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1468220763950688479.post-23324383508266372342008-02-02T20:47:00.000-06:002008-02-02T20:47:00.000-06:00Goodness Paige. Took him all day to do the driveway with our big tractor. Good thing the snow was still soft.

It amazes me that things close like that down there for an inch of snow. We don't close anything for snow - school bus may not run - but the schools etc. are open.Carrie Thttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14682529392660019504noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1468220763950688479.post-34435718586306261262008-02-02T11:01:00.000-06:002008-02-02T11:01:00.000-06:00hahaha. But just as glad when by noon it is allllll gonneee

Been there and done that on Wisconsin/Ill border in previous life

CarolAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1468220763950688479.post-65718448786727336852008-02-01T22:04:00.000-06:002008-02-01T22:04:00.000-06:00I am sick sick sick of snow.Nice photos, however.I am sick sick sick of snow.

Nice photos, however.Robin Salliehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08683091556614710176noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1468220763950688479.post-51102921223455409832008-02-01T18:59:00.000-06:002008-02-01T18:59:00.000-06:00Good for you Paige Strawn! Unless you plan on digging under the tractor for Barry, I'd let it go a few days (or months).Hollyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17685436243608973979noreply@blogger.com
